winners choice strings?

I will preface this with the fact that I am not a Mathews guy (doesn't mean I don't like them, just don't shoot one) and with the statement that if the string doesn't need to be replaced, I would stick with what is on there.

With that said, I have often heard and read that the Zebra strings on a Mathews bow are often their weakest link. If you can get a good custom string (such as Winners Choice, Vapor Trail, or many other individuals building strings) it can make a great bow even better. I often wonder why some of the best bow companies put inferior strings on their top of the line bows.

***My comments in no way are meant to indicate that the Zebra strings are not serviceable, it simply means you can get strings that will wear better, strech less - or not at all, and will increase bow speed and performance.

As a Mathews shooter.... Get ready for it... I agree with InTheNorthwoods. Zebra is an ok string. My choice would be Bucknasty strings.
