Big Dave2
If it was optional I guess I would still go because I wouldn't want to be "That guy", but obviously Brett likes that Rep. That is why he's making millions and I'm not. I'm calling B-S on this one! I was asked to go to Houston at the end of this month by my employer but I have a camping trip planned for that weekend so I had to give them a "Thanks, but no thanks". I guess I am "that guy"! MuleShack
Yes, but were your co-workers depending on you to perform? If not you must not be an MVP then
harvey lee
I bet Tjack is better at Quarterbacking than LMITOUT and HarveyLee are at fishing Kidding aside, if it came down to Favre retiring I'd be comfortable watching Jackson QB us, but let him use his legs a little more. SuperBowl contenders?? You just never know, but they'd still be a heck of a team. That may be but, I will not drop the ball or throw a Int. Big Dave2
Yes, but were your co-workers depending on you to perform? If not you must not be an MVP then Absolutely they depend on me, and some times I let them down! We are a small company and the sales we could have generated from the trade show they wanted me to go to may have been a good boost for our company but being a selfish human being like I know most people are these days, I opted to say no. I would rather spend that weekend WITH my family, camping and fishing rather than spend it AWAY from my family working. And BTW, missing this trade show would be more like missing a GAME instead of just missing practice. I may not be the MVP but there are only 3 people on our "team" so I guess you could say I am a "starter" for sure.
