cherokee
I made a run up there earlier and picked up a bunch of stuff. Smells like a giant bait site when you go into the place.
charliepete
If you are talking the guy out of Ladysmith (Dave Proden) I have indeed bought bait there. He is cheaper than the guys around the cities, but still more expensive thant some others out that way. He definitely has a great product. He weighs stuff out and always provides a square deal. He's kind of an unpleasant person, but business wise he's just fine.
lakeshoremunster
Charlie<If you dont mind me asking, what did you pick up and what was the quality of the products that you picked up.Was their mold or soggy bait?
charliepete
I've bought trail mix, cookie dough, and granola and chocolate covered cherries from him. No problem with anything being moldy. I make it a habit to open drums before I leave with them though. I haven't had any problem with Thornapple, but another outfit gave me a half barrel of flour that was supposed to have been sugar cookies. I wasn't so pleased after I spent all the time and energy lugging it in an out of a pickup and all the way up north before figuring out what it was. lakeshoremunster
that is a good way, guess I never have thought of that because the atv goes in the trailor and all the gear and bait buckets goes in bed
