I would say not using a thermacell can't hurt. Using a thermacell might bother mature bears in areas with more hunting pressure too. There are alot of different variables too throw in there too. To each there own.

Bog,the stuff over 400lbs?

That would be great. Here is what I am collecting:

Actual weight field dressed.

Length tip of nose to tail

Skull measurements green and dried if possible

Front pad and rear foot measurements

Scars,amputations, healed over arrowhead and bullet wounds including locations.

Description of surrounding forest, swamp etc.

Distance from nearest roads homes etc
