Has anybody speared carp on a lake in the winter? jw if ppl do this maybe might do it this winter gota carp lake nearby me.

I've speared a couple, the big ones are a great way to wreck a nice spear.

I do. It can be fun and an easy way to help clean out a lake. Just don't use a spendy spear.

I normally spear about 25 a winter. Got 7, or was it 8 in one day last winter. Sharp tines are a must. The pic above happens occasionally to me. Just flex the tine back in place and get ready for another.

Got two in one day last year a 25 & 23 pounder, Didn't even mess the spear up, suprisingly.
