Stolen Deer Stands

Got a call last night from the land owner who's land I deer hunt. He told me that some people came into the farm this week and stole a bunch of stuff from the shop/barn/yard. Started going through all the tools/equipment they stole then he said that all my stands were also stolen. I remove most of my stands each fall because the area floods really bad and I put them on a pallet in the yard in case his dad needs to move them he can move them with the forks on the tractor so no lifting for him. Well I guess they grabbed the whole pallet. I'm now out 4 tree stands and 3 ladder sticks. This happened between Halstad and Shelly, MN. Granted the tree stands weren't brand new but 3 of them were 2 years old. Any leads would be great.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Been there and it stinks.

They rarely catch these people and when they do, not enough of a penalty to keep others from doing the same.

Keep an eye on c r a i g s l i s t. Sometimes they are dumb enough to try and sell the stuff on there.
