leech, I would love to be as positive about the Vikes as you are, but we left last season with some big holes in our team, and we did very little do improve that. If we want to keep the old man playing the game all season, they better get somebody in front of him to block, so he isnt scrambling, and laying on his butt the entire game. The offensive line needs work, and nothing was done to improve it this offseason, and it looks as though they are content with who they had last year.

Address the holes, then I will be with you on the SB run!

Loadholt is only getting better! Maybe we'll turn into a run first club like we ought to be. I'm as optimistic as anyone, I'm on the bandwagon and have never jumped off.

I'm with ya there Leech. I have been on the Vikes bandwagon since I can remember. And I will NEVER jump off. Don't care how good or how bad they are, they will always be my favorite team. And I am absolutely PUMPED to watch them play this year!! SKOL VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

All I have to say is the Pack is essentially the same team as last year with Driver a year older/slower, Johnny Jolly suspended for a year because of drugs and a rookie O-lineman.

Twice the Pack got beat by the Vikes. Can you say the Vikes owned that team at the dome AND at Lambeau last year.

Peterson did, but he's 5 times better than anyone the cheeseheads got. Yes we should be a run first team with a talent like Peterson!!!

Agreed. Peterson is a beast and those fumbles last year were(I think) a fluke. I think he holds onto the ball better this year, and does not fumble near as much.

He may have led the league in fumbles, but he was also the 2nd leading rusher in the league too.

AP had 1,383 yards rushing in 2009.

Ryan Grant had 1,253 yards rushing in 2009.

5 times better, come on.

But who wouldn't want AP on their team, he is fun to watch, if you don't mind the fumbles.

At least AP has the opportunity to correct the fumble issue while running all over the league this year...can't say the same for Jolly.

Who wouldn't want AP over Jolly, drugs or not. Not even a question.

AP also had 18 TD's and 43 receptions for 430 some odd yards. Yes he fumbles, but so what, Aaron Rodgers gets sacked like crazy. He's still great.

Also look at the 08-09 season..... 1760 yards!!! If he isn't 5 times the back Grant is, he's at least 4 times the back.

Just watch, Grant will run into obscurity and AP will run into the HOF.
