Shawn Kellett
That's because the new one is coming out next year. I was talking to someone who was at ICAST last weekend and he said the new one is AWESOME. I've learned to believe this guy as he's been known to hunt for big fish... cbrooks
Hopefully the new model has a level wind.
HugoBox
Hopefully the new model has a level wind. I'm fairly certain it won't. I was talking to the gal at Thorne for quite awhile on Saturday debating if I'm going to stick with a Saltist or move to the Trinidad on a new rod I ordered. She said they've tried and tried to get Shimano to add a levelwind for the ski guys but so far Shimano hasn't determined that its worth all the engineering $$ to make the change. They never anticipated a saltwater reel being so popular. On an slightly different note she mentioned they are coming out with another version of the Curado with a power handle. Not necessarily geared for big blades but better for bigger baits in general.

JRedig
It's kind of a wish in one hand and c--p in the other, muskie fisherman are a very small market share overall. I don't think a levelwind is a big deal at all, so the line stacks up, it won't be on the next cast...since most are running them 2/3's full, room for the line to stack up. HugoBox
If you go to Shimano's websitght and look up Trinidad A (its the top one on their conventional reel page) you can see all the specs.
