fishin for crappies???

We got into the crappies on last thrusday and I set the hook on one then my line got heavy and the battle was on and I managed a couple of pic before Mr. toothy spit out my crappie. Mr toothy had this crappie by the head and didnt want to let go I figure it was about 4 lbs and this was about an 11 inch crappie

I haven't had that happen in a long time! Last time it was with a small sunfish. Was able to boat both of them.

I qwas out over the weekend and it almost happened again I was reeling in a 7 inch sunnie and just pulled it out of the water by the boat and whosh a pike about 10-12lbs comes out of the water and trys to grab the sunny but missed and went right over it. It was a cool sight to see and a rush I might add
