With the Daytona race coming up, I figured I would post that we broke down finally and took the Florida trip with the kids last month.

One day we drove from Orlando up to Daytona and toured the Speedway. I would say it was definitely one of the highlights of the whole trip to do the Experience. A little pricey, but we stayed for quite a while and the whole family enjoyed it. You really can't appreciate how big that track is until you've seen it in person. The tour trolley stops on the outside of the track at Turn 3, 44 feet to the bottom! Got the pictures in Victory Lane, the garages, the whole nine yards.

It was a good break as I knew I had 2 more days of Princesses and Pixie dust coming back in Orlando.

Has anyone else ever done the Daytona Experience?
