I'd take a look at your speedometer pickup and see if there's anything stuck in it... on your boat it's either screwed to the transom where your locator is, or connected to the lower unit of your motor.

If it's not on your transom it's connected to a tube on the leading edge of your lower unit - look very closely for a little notch in the lower unit below the split between the mid section and lower unit. Is there anything stuck in there?

Otherwise, I'd pull the speedo tube off at the back of the gauge and use an air compressor to blow air back through the tube to clear whatever's blocking it.

I had the same issue on my Merc. I looked into the little hole on the back side of the motor and sure enough, a very small chip of wood was restricting the water flow or pressure. I took a small hook and pulled it out and wella, speedo again.

+1 has worked for me before! ...just make sure you blow from the tube at the speedo...not vice versa! :P ..not that I have ever done that and had to replace the speedo... whistle
