Crappie mount

Over Memorial weekend we hooked into a brute of a crappie that was 14 1/2" long. We took a Photo and put her back. Now I have been to red in the days and have caught 13" - 14" in the past. But what makes this so special it was from our lake! I would like to get a replica made and was wondering if anyone here has ever had one done? Is there a good local company and apprx. costs for it?

there is a sponsor of this site that posts his work sometimes and I have been very impressed with the paint jobs and I would have to recommend them.....I think the name is Almberg Taxidermy.......Good Luck.....make sure you see some of there crappie work as in my opinion it is a very hard fish to get right!!

I would strongly recommend Almberg's, here's a picture of a sunfish replica he made for me. All I did was send him some pictures and he shipped it to my door. Brian is great to work with and will answer any questions you may have.
