NE Last hunt

After success in WI the week before.I headed back to NE.Ended up with a nice bird for the area.We do not get too many over 22 lbs or good hooks.He had both 23 lbs and 1.25 hooks on him.Made the drive on Friday after work and pulled up to the spot I hunt around 10pm.Got some good sleep and put down the bird around 8:30 am.Did not see too many Tom's but a ton of hens running all over the place.I'm sure they gobbled on roost but the wind was so bad I could not hear them.Was another great spring.And a good way to close it out.
