good spot for carp

im from northern mn and looking to go to the metro area or any with carp really. im new to the sport I would like either just a spot or even someone to show me the ropes a bit. I have my bow set up and boats and all equipment i would need.

mark if its carp you want then try little elk lake in surburne county tons of them out there and some really big ones too. lake freemont in zimmerman also hasd a bunch of them.
