Next Sunday ( 5/30) my first Twins game since 88 and my first trip to the new stadium. Rooms booked and the wife and I are exited to be going.

Get there when the gates open and just walk around. You may get a sore mouth from the jaw dropping. So many things to see in such a short time. I took 150+ photos and four videos while there and, looking back, so many more cold have been taken.

For weekday games, gates open 90 minutes before first pitch and for weekend games, gates open two hours before first pitch. It sucks that you can't catch Twins batting practice but you can catch the visiting team. My son has got three balls during BP so far so he loves going early to every game!

Weather was fine not a drop fell in our section. We took the rail in from 28th st, pretty easy in and out. Our hotel offers shuttles to and from the rail, couldn't get much easier.
