Recent Build

Finished this one up last week for a cousin of my fathers. He wanted a 9ft 5wt flyrod, nothing too fancy but distinguished. I think I nailed it.

The blank was kind of an olive green and I went with black wraps. Also did a basic diamond wrap with black and non-metalic gold thread. Next time I do a diamond wrap i'll take picts of the process...

So haaad - It's just a cabelas traditional II blank. Cant beat it for the price and she cast great...
