I can do that. I haven't tried it yet. But the gal said that the arrow disc sits on a pin/gear where all i have to do is gently pry it up and turn it to match the motor. Then press it back down.

Well, i tried to adjust the indicator yesturday with no luck! Yes the cap comes off, and you can rotate it, but on mine there is only four positions that it will snap back into place. So it still would be off. I tried rotating the shafts, and the head, but this didn't make any differene either. Guess i'm SOL!

Is the directional arrow and the point of the trolling motor pointing in the same direction, in any position?

Is it that you wish to relocate the positioning of the shaft to offset the cables on your bow, or the relative positioning of the head unit to your bow...or something like that?

Or..is the indicator arrow on the head unit and the drive motor pointing in contrary directions and you wish to realign them? If so, how far off are they from true...1/8, 1/4, 1/2...or somewhere in between?

The arrow and the head do not point in the same direction.

Minnkota did come thru ! grin This is the directions they e-mailed me.

The indicator is controlled by the indicator drive located under the cover. To adjust it you will need to remove the cover and raise up the drive gear, then adjust the indicator drive so that it is inline with the lower unit. Replace the drive gear and cover. If you would like a copy of the manual please let me know the motors serial number and your mailing address.

Well i finally got at it this morning. Not to tough. As the directions said under the cover you have to take a bracket off that holds the gear in place. Rotate and put back together.

Minnkota also offered to send me a new book once i let them know the serial # of my motor. That got sent this morning. It took a little while, but good service from them!
