Ruger 204 anyone have one?

Just bought a Remington 204 caliber has anyone hunted varmints with this caliber? How is it for pelt damage?

great choice fishmount!like shootin a laser,hornady v max less pelt damage winchesters a little more rip but way less than my old 222!!

great for pelts- little tough on fox, but very good on yotes. 35 gr Bergers is where its at

Yea I traded in 22-250 cause it ripped'em up sometimes though it shot great. Looking forward to shooting this gun to see how accurate it is and have had fox and coyotes brought into the shop to tan and rugged out that had no exit wounds from this caliber (204). I did buy the 32 grain Hornady v max to try out.

I don't have one but i know a CO who uses one regularly for metro wildlife issues. Cat's meow in his book.

A lot of 204's don't like 32 grain bullets but who knows, yours may love them. Give them a try and let us know how they work in your gun. I couldn't get mine to shoot any 32 grain bullet no matter how I loaded it. Good like. You will love the cartridge.

Insanely accurate, very fun to shoot. I personally use 40 gr hornadys but im considering starting to load my own.

Just replaced the target scope with a Leupold 3x9 and am just waiting to head back to North Dakota to try out some 32 and 40 grain Hornaday V-Max seeing which one groups the best.
