Minni and Paul commercial

Why do Minni and Paul have east coast accents in that commercial? Couldn't find any local talent to do it, or what?

Good question, this is maybe the only commercial for Twins territory that I actually don't like. The Twins commercials have been really good since 2001 or so when they really started to make the Twins territory ones..... Along with the G.B. Twins song and this commercial, this is the worst the Twins have done in years.

All of the Twins moving commercials were really good from '08 - '09 and the new one with the frozen flag pole and the "don't belong here Indians fan". The "great sages" ones with Killebrew, Hrbek, Oliva, and Carew were good! The pirahanas in the tank at Mall of America, Mauers sideburns, Joe Nathan and Joe Mauer in Mauers parents basement, The Christian Guzman "na-na-na-na-na" one, Twins carpool with Santana, GET TO KNOW 'EM commercials from the early 2000's. Torii Hunter birthday party one, Corey Koskie Canada one, how to spell and say M-I-E-N-T-K-I-E-W-I-C-Z one on the radio was classic! I don't even mind the outdoor noises one that is on the radio now. ALL GOOD ONES... Hope that brought some memories back for all of those that have been following the team for quite a long time.....

Remember the Snapper Mow Em Down Innings? Still love to say that when the Twins retire the side in order!

Sorry for the sidetrack on the post but it got me thinking about the good commercials of years past!
