Don't think about it, just do it! I wasn't going to because I liked the Commando a lot and didn't want to go back to being a noob, but honestly I'm at 20 and my K/D ratio is the same as it was at 50.

I wouldn't have done it but I was thinking about it and leveling up and getting achievements and stuff is what keeps me interested, so I will prestige until I am sick of the game completely.

Whoops, can't have that screen name on here. But if you want to see an unbelievable non-kill, take a peek, that RC car was right next to an enemy, and he lives thru it

Flack Jacket. Reduces explosive damage. That is why he lived. If you would have blew it up in front of him he might have died. those guys can take claymore hits too.

Playing HC CTF today with the 8 year old we played against a guy on the PS3 that went 64-3 and 84-6 back to back. There's no way you can do that without some sort of assistance, IMO.

It is very possible. Specially in Hardcore.

Spray and pray would easily get double the kills.

Ive gone 43 - 3 in Domination or maybe it was TDM.

If I was camping an area I could easily stack up kills faster.

Ive seen high scores on domination in MW2

I have been playing quite a bit trying to get better before I even attempted to play BOPS with anyone from here(I have played every other COD game before this). But I think I have played enough to start playing if you guys are ever on. I gave my Live tag on the tag thread.

Well I am pretty sure I am not very good yet either! But I have fun and you all seem like you have fun playing also. I get a little tired of playing with people I do not know and can't communicate with. I will actually be playing here in about 10 minutes if anyone is gonna be on. I left my Tag for Live on the other thread, but I can leave it here too. ChillyWilly1978.

Want to know how big of a gamer Saints safety Roman Harper is? All you have to do is hear about his birthday party.

Think muscle-bound football players huddled around flat screens with Xbox controllers gripped tight as they blast each other in "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and you get the picture.

Oh, and did I mention there were party hats?

"I'm a big 'Call of Duty' player ... it consumes my life in the offseason," admits Harper. "So earlier this year when I was in Southern California, the people at Activision saw how big I was into the game, so they surprised me with a 'Call of Duty' party. It really turned out fun.

"I even got a motorcycle helmet that looks like one of the helmets the guys wear in the game, and I wore that around all night. We had some fake guns, we had little bullets everywhere, and a 'Call of Duty' mural in the background. I don't think any of my teammates were expecting anything like that and they all enjoyed it. It was a really good time."

Harper claims that the "Call of Duty" franchise is the most addicting of any video game series ever made, and he's such a fan, he even convinced non-gaming teammates like Darren Sharper to join the online fray.

And now Sharper, a guy who hasn't been into video games since the days of "Donkey Kong," is hooked.

"The thing about 'Call of Duty' is that when you're playing, you really can imagine yourself in that moment," says Sharper. "It lets you know how serious, how scary it would be if you were caught in that moment for real, and that's an adrenaline rush for me. It really gets those competitive juices flowing every time you play the game, and I think that's why it has been so popular."

And when it comes to playing the game, Sharper boasts he's the best on the Saints by far as military instincts run in his family.

"I'm the best 'Call of Duty' player because my father was in Vietnam," Sharper says. "It's just in my genes. I have that sixth sense of knowing when to duck, knowing when to shoot, knowing when to hide. I think that comes from my father being a Vietnam War veteran. He won a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star medal and I think that relates to me being the best 'Call of Duty' player on the team."

When Harper hears this, he bursts out with laughter.

"I'm not even going to steal your thunder, Sharp," he says. "I'll let you have it with that.

"But 'Call of Duty' is definitely a big deal in our locker room. A lot of my teammates play it -- from Malcolm Jenkins to Tracy Porter -- it's a big hit with the defense and some of the O-Linemen play it as well."

And when the Saints get together to shoot it out, they say everyone plays with a distinct style.

For Darren Sharper, that means finding a good place to hide when the match starts. "I like to sit back and let things clear out," he says, "then when everybody is distracted and shooting each other, I come in from out of nowhere and go in for the secondary stomp."

Roman Harper, on the other hand, plays aggressive from the opening second.

"I want first blood," Harper says with a laugh. "I want first blood and the last kill, that way I can do my dance on them.

"What's crazy, though, is how good the game looks on my 3-D TV. I'll be sitting there with those big old goggles on, but I love it. I've had my 3-D TV for five months, and this is the only thing I do on it. The guns are a little more raised out and once you get used to it, it's actually easier to shoot guys from further away."

As for how long they play the game in one stretch, Harper says he's embarrassed to admit it, but he's played for eight hours straight before, although right now, he says all of the Saints have bigger things on their minds than video games with the playoffs approaching.

"I have to put the controller down right now," Harper says as the Saints prepare to defend their title. "I can't be addicted to 'Call of Duty' during the season. We have a few more games to win first.

"But in the offseason, I'll be back on strong."

So, I have documented my battle with the "Sickness"... getting motions sickness from FPS games. JPZ sent me some articles that had helped quite a bit. many of the articles also said with "training" you could get rid of or greatly diminish the feeling. So, with room lighting, distance from the t.v. and some adult beverages(slows eye movement) I have been able to play. Slowly I have been trying to work my way closer to the T.v. and less "adult beverages"... Last night I was able to play without any, and fairly close.. and had my best night as far as kill/death ratio.. Wish I would have looked at the end of the night.. I won 3 free for all games in a row. best was 27-6, but also had a 30-12.. was fun.. its fun to not die a lot. 8-)

Okay this may sting a bit but it's the same cure I gave my son it's called an on/off switch, couple that with a jig stick and you'll recover. laugh Seriously my son was having the same problems thankfully he reached the 50th level with a prestiege of 8 and got board with the game and rarely plays anymore.

Same problems? This game isnt a problem, its a blast, give it a try.

You can play this game and still do other things too. In my case I really dont watch TV. Ive got about 2.5 days of gameplay. If I told someone I racked up that much time in a couple months they would probably label me a geek instantly but then Ill ask them how much time did they spend just watching TV in the past few months?

Man I wish I could join you guys but my box finally completely died. I'm gunna bring it back to Best Buy tomorrow and upgrade to the 250gb system for $100 more so I will be back on soon enough. The 250gb system comes with forza 3 and alan wake so that is cool with me.

I'm just kinda hoping all my stuff will be saved as far as my live account stuff and gamertag/stats/classes.

Am I the only one have lag issues(ps3)? Virtually unplayable most of the time due to inconsistency. Keep thinking it's my system and then have 2-3 normal games. Would love to try it with box hardwired but that just won't work in our house. Real close to offering up a copy of BOPS for sale...cheap.

I have gotten so annoyed with it, I went back to playing MW2. But I am a ps3 player. Until they figure out BOPS I wont even play it anymore.
