soldoncass
Some ideas/ predictions on Vikes personell decisions....Kliensasser's time may be up, new blood to develop. IF Favre comes back, I think they will trade/release either TJ or Rosenfels, so Archer can learn. Perrilious may show them enough to get on practice squad. Archer "looks" like a west coast offense QB, with quick release. Kelton Tindal, if he can catch, will stick around because of his size and pure speed.....if he is another Williamson, then no way. Winn, and Austin (OL) have a chance to stick.I see Triplett as a Sp T wedgebuster. Tahi vulnerable for D'Imperio. Webb a virtual lock for WR/ QB "specials". Schuler could replace Kliensasser. Cook, Gerhart, Griffin, Degeare locks. Skinner (S) has good size, may replace someone. I don't see any DT's on the lists, so we are going to stand pat there. We have too many RB's, tough competition there. Several smaller DB's have a chance to challenge reserves/ return guys. I'm excited for the possibilities this year. zepman
With all those additions...who's out?
SFC
Maybe they should sign these guys first and see what they can do on the field. If a WR can run real fast he can make the team unless he is like williamson, Thats funny right there u cant make that stuff up, or can you? My prediction is the vets are going to have competion just like last year.

soldoncass
I like Kleiny too ,for blocking only. If a young TE shows similar blocking skills AND can catch the ball, they will probably go with young blood. I think Tahi will be replaced, doesn't seem that good to me. There are several players that made the roster last year ,that I see as vulnerable for rookies to misplace this year. That is why I liked the way they went after all that talent for FA....lots of upside possible. When you are drafting #30 you don't get the cream of the crop. I see they signed 5 from the invitees to free agent contracts. They could be still working on more, but......several were local guys. I didn't see Perillioux on the list, I was hoping he was a "diamond in the rough" for us as QB......too bad. They have 87 signed so far, and they can have a max of 80 in training camp.....gonna be some interesting shuffles yet.
pikestabber
Agreed that Tahi was lacking last year... AP was poised to have a great year, but with OG, C and OT struggles, coupled with Tahi not holding a candle to the blocking that Richardson provided two years ago, AP's production dropped off sharply. Granted, we went to the air a lot more, but just having the threat of Favre to Harvin, Berrian, and of course, Rice, should have kept Defenses honest and spread the field a bit for AP, but it just didn't happen. You have to look at guys like Tahi for part of the blame, too. Richardson was underrated as a great blocking back IMO.
