Can anyone give me updates on the ice conditions for Trade Lake? I have an open water trip planned there on May 5th.

Some lakes in the area still have 20 inches.

Does anybody know a GPS chip that shows Trade Lake? I have a Lakemaster and Navionics and Im not seeing it on the list...

My don't cover most of the smaller lakes up that way either.

My grandparents lake not to far from there was still locked up as of last weekend and my grandmother reported it was "still very white not black at all" If it were to open before the weekend I think you would be very lucky.

Talking with the bait shops around the Spooner / Hayward area. There is or will be open water on most smaller lakes. So I am guessing the same will hold true for that area.
