Keyed on/off switch for an EZ Go golf cart

Long story, but I need to replace the keyed on/off switch on my mo-in-law's golf cart. Where is the easiest/cheapest place for me to find a replacement for this? It's got the key on the front side and two wires that connect by little bolts in back, if that helps to describe it better.

Does the cart work if you just touch the two wires together? If it does you should be able to get pretty much any keyed switch to work. If she wasn't worried about theft you could even put in a toggle.

If it's an older electric model, It's a simple switch. Key on completes the circuit, key off is open circuit. I think EZ Go asks about $50 for the switch... I'd go to a auto parts store and see if you could find a simple 2 position replacement. If you don't have any kids around to keep under wraps, just connect those two loops together and it'll always be on.

I'm not a golf cart guru, just had to replace a switch myself a month ago on mine.

ask for a single pole single throw switch, simple on/off is what it will be, you could extend the wires and hide the switch if you are worried about someone stealing it. similar to anti theft switch
