I am buying a 20 ft. car hauler. It has two 3500 lb axles and electric brakes on each wheel. My question is I will be pulling this with my 05 Tahoe and I need to put a controller in the truck. Is there anything I should know before I just take it and have one installed? Any idea of what a this is going to costs? Thanks as always!

you will need a brake controller. they can be purchased for under $100 and are very easy to install yourself. I put one in my 01 tahoe and it took less than a beer!! you just basically just unplug wires under the dash, then plug the controller in kinda like a "t". it will have good instructions and the dash should have a place to mount it already, you just have to crawl under the dash to find it.
