After troubleshooting -- had the pedal tested, applied 12V to the head and the prop spun -- the control board has to be the culprit. I called several marine electronic places and Minn Kota and got the same answer: "they don't make that board anymore". It is a year 2000 Power Drive 50 twelve volt unit with the white top on the head. The ID number on the control board is "230-4014". I know, I know, it's ten years old, get a new one. But, the unit was everything I wanted in a trolling motor and had relatively low hours, and was paid for. Any help on a source for this would be immensely appreciated.
