Why has it been so tough to open HSO or Fishing Minnesota latley???

I appreciate the efforts, but I would like a little forewarning if the forums are going to be down. It's not the end of the world, but an explanation rather than just a page that says "Internet Explorer cannot reach the HSOforum" or something like that would be greatly appreciated.

If I remember right they had a server meltdown a couple of weeks ago. Completely unforeseen. I was figuring they were moving everything over to a new set of servers and off the backups they had been using.

I know, I have dial up at home and keep thinking it's just that? Maybe it's time to clean out some old stuff and help the "Band Width" out a bit?

As HSO grows and grows, because of our great members and threads we have going. Its necessary to upgrade the server from time to time. We did it late Friday-early Saturday am to minimize any impact. A warning that we were doing it was up during the transition. Unfortunately our techs made a mistake with our DNS entries and found it late last night. Sometimes one simple mistake mushrooms to multiple DNS issues. We did not foresee this being an issue and it will be completely fixed soon.
