lookincalifornia Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 any time you get a lot of weeds in a pit then a lot of snow on the ice, winter kills get really bad. years ago there were pits owned be winnebago ind. that winter killed off. found huge carcass of fish i had no idea were swimming in there. giant pike and walleyes, huge bass and catfish. no matter how many fish die, there will always bee some survivors. it may take a few years to become a viable fishery again Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
