Where to go in Wisconsin?

My wife wants to venture over into Wisconsin for a weekend on the ATV's sometime this summer. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to go? We would prefer something more scenic and adventurous than old railroads, ditches, etc. We have not done any riding in Wisconsin, so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of nice trails in Wisconsin. Most of what I've ridden was in the northernmost areas near Lake Superior, and was very nice!. Havent gone enough to remember trail names though.

Where ever you decide, dont forget to buy a trail pass.

Can only speak of a couple;

The Jackson/Clark counties are a great ride, we frequent them alot.

I have spent a weekend on the Ion River trail system and it was a little moe challenging, but I really liked it.

So far we spend more time riding in Wisconsin than Minnesota, there are nice trails in northern Minnesota, but we are trailering them some where to have a decent ride and we think the Wisconsin riding is much better.

What are you looking to ride on?, Sorry I see you are looking for more scenic, both of the ones I mention have scenic outlooks on them.

Has anone rode the Deadhorse in Wisconsin?

Jackson and Clark offer some great trails. Plenty of lodging/camping near or on the trails. It's on of my favorite locations to ride, plus it's only an hr away. I'm heading up to Long Lake, WI which is in Florence and Forest County. The miles of trails up there are unreal, mostly located in the heart of God's Country. Connects up into the UP also.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like Clark/Jackson counties will be on our list of places to get to this year. It turns out that we have a friend with a cabin in Washburn county, so I think that we will end up spending a weekend in that area, too.
