bae501
Cleared a bunch of brush today, and was wondering if it was to soon to spray round up on the area yet?
buckhunter21
I would hold off for a while, it is a little too cold yet for it. Not sure what the best temps are to spray, I think its between like 65-85 but not sure, it might say somewhere on the label.
hockeybc69
You have to have green and growing plants to use round up.Way too early to have any effect now.Can you get the plot tilled any time soon? How was the ground? If you can get it worked up, let it sit for a couple weeks and nuke whatever comes up green at that time. Let it sit for 10 days, till it up again and plant after that. Code-Man
Round Up only works when it hits green plant material. You need to spray when it is 55+ degrees and with ample amount of sunshine. It is proven that round up don't work when it's cold because the plant is not making as much food so it don't absorb the chemical as quickly as when warm. It is also proven that Round Up works best when it has plenty of day light after spraying, reason the plant's pores are open during the day light to breath and if it is open the plant can absorb the round up easier. If you want to waste money and help my Monsanto stock SPRAY SPRAY and SPRAY but I strongly suggest waiting for the frost to get out and then spray when night temps are dropping into the 40/45's at the earliest!
