Tougher Cone (E-Collar)?

Long story short my dog will be wearing a cone for at least a month, or until the hair on his leg grows back (so he'll stop licking his leg).

Anyway, I've been through 3 cones in 2 weeks... and at this rate don't think I'll be able to keep up.

Any ideas on a tougher cone? I'm thinking something aluminum would be perfect

Has anyone seen a plastic funnel about the size of a cone for a bigger lab? I'm thinking that might be tough enough to make it a month.

I can't keep a cone on my dog either. If you need to keep the dog from licking a leg maybe try the bitter apple spray. I believe its safe to spray right on the dog and it should prevent them from licking the area.

try the inflateable ring from petsmart or petco

the inflatable one works good, used it for my pup when he got fixed

I have seen the inflatable one.. but I've got to believe he'll be able to get to his wound (on his rh front leg with that yet...
