He just ruined the race. I am trying to be a NASCAR fan, but it seems that every race I watch ends in this same crash'em up, restart, one or two lap mad dash to the finish. He 100% took the other guy out and screwed up the race for the leaders at the time he did this.

One thing I would like to see them change is to park the cars that are multiple laps down with 10-20 laps to go. Don't hold the DNF against them. It seems like these multiple lap down cars just clutter up the track and bring out cautions. Trying to watch the end of a Nascar race is getting almost as bad as trying to watch the end of a basketball game. Way too many time outs.
