line for trinidad

just wondering what type of line you fellow musky fisherman are spooling up on your trinidads I just picked up a 16n and am wondering what to spool up with I use 100# stealth on all my other reels but was told not a good option for the trinidad since it doesn't really stay round. I also want to get it as full as possible as it will only be used for burning blades don't have any other use for it.

I love Cortland! Been trying new lines on one or two rods each year, and I keep coming back to Cortland.

I also became a fan of the Suffix this past season.

Don't fill the Trinidad all the way. You don't need it, and filling it all the way will make the lack of a levelwind more of an issue.

thanks for the replies guys gonna have to check out the cortland guess i'll have to take a trip to thore bros. Haven't been in the new store yet and sounds like a good reason to go. I still think I'm gonna start with it full and see how it works otherwise i might as well just throw my 700TE.

I've done the same and have come to the same conclusions...

Cortland Bronzeback Masterbraid in 80# is the winner, and I do like the Sufix 65# on my Curado 300s and Luna 253s. P Pro 30# is fine on the bass stuff (Sufix too for that matter), but Cortland gets the nod on the muskie reels.
