Sifty
I finally have been able to get out and put my Jason Mitchell meatstick to the test. I have been on a pretty good panfish bite and have really fallen in love with this rod. One of the biggest things I have noticed is the new colored tip which has really helped me put some fish on the ice. The new tip being colored was a great Idea and I'm glad they made the change my meatstick from last year does'nt have the colored tip and is a little hard to see when it gets dark. The fast action tip and the back bone in this rod are matched up great. I can't wait to test it out on some late action jumbo perch.Sifty

harvey lee
Thats good to here Sifty. Yes, the addition of the colored tip on the awesome Meatstick was a very good change. I love the action of this rod as one can in most situations get away without a spring bobber.

JimBuck
Same here. I've got two of em' besides the 4 other JM rods. They are great rods for the money and customer service is fantastic. Jason really takes care of his customer's. I'll be looking his way this spring for a vertical jigging rod.
riverrat56
They iced some very nice gills for us. this weekend when the guys with out them were struggling. The long flexible tip shines about a spring bobber in my opinion. It lets you impart a very subtle action on the jig and detect the lightest pick up. Gissert
I've been using the Meatstick for walleyes on a Rock n Reel this winter. The tip is soft enough that the minnow can work it, but the backbone is plenty stout to handle a good size fish. Great rod, it is now my go to pole. Northlander
I love my Meatsticks and they are great rods. The new ones with the colored tips are awesome. I like the fact that we asked Jason for colored tips and he had them made. Tels me he cares what his customers think.

Jim Uran
I've got the 28" Jason Mitchell walleye rod. I pulled up a 32" Greenback with that badboy with no problems!
