Deal! I didn't know this was happening, but I will try to go!

Hey,

I'm going to try and hit this as well schedule pending; as its always fun to learn new stuff for future reference and I'll try to recap a few of the key points.

Cecil: Look for a guy in the classic Target khaki/red uniform wearing the plastic torso cast & walking funny as that'll be me, its always nice to meet some of the FM guys.

I have a Lowrance 520 and an LCX 15. I also have a Humminbird 787C2 and a 997 CSI.

With that said, I havent had any problems with the 520.... yet. I do forsee it in the future, just because of their reputation for problems. I have problems with my X15 when I got it. Multiple updates to fix stuff. Multiple transducers etc. All under warranty, but none of which shouldve happened if they wouldve done the proper testing on the unit with their staff, instead of letting their customers do the testing for them.

My Humminbird 997 I bought new, and it has been bulletproof! Ill never be without Side Imaging again and I dont even have the upgrades put in it yet.

To be honest, I dont have more than a few hours on the 787, because I bought it used, and have the 520 up front for map data recordings.

I like what I have seen with the 787 also.
