Length from hitch to prop?

Any guesses on the total length of a 17.5 boat on a trailer with 75 horse evinrude on the back? thinking about fitting one in a garage.

I'm guessing 26' give or take. I think my 16' is right about at 24' without the tongue folded (if I am remembering correctly). They're all different, though. I always had a tape measure with when looking at boats.

I have a 1750 Lund Outfitter and with the swing arm folded it's 20'4".

Ralph, 26'?!? You have an extra 10 feet of trailer and motor on the back?

The trailer looks to be "normal sized" and is the trailer that came with an early 80s alumnacraft.

The boat is in another state, so it's not as easy as just breaking out the tape measure.

Add about 6' to the boat and you should be pretty close. My boat is 20' and the rig is just over 25' total.

Well, I said my 16' was about 24', not 26'. Couple feet for the tongue of the trailer and a few feet for the motor puts it pretty close. My motor has a hydrofoil which adds a bit, and I leave the motor tilted on the transom saver, or it would be shorter. I added a swing tongue, which knocked a few feet off of the overall length.

My 1750 was about 23'. about 20' after I added the swing tounge.
