Anyone hunt in Canada on here? I'm looking to put an affordable archery trip together for a buddy and I. Any suggestions?

Ive been looking into the last couple years and think Im going to do it this year. Im looking at doing an unguided hunt in Ontario either with rifle or bow. I think its around $200 bucks for a tag and as far as I know its the only province in Canada that doesnt require a guide in certain areas so you really arent going to find a cheaper hunt if you have to hire a guide. I have no idea though what its going to be like to find a spot to hunt though so thats the one huge disadvantage of not having a guide but even if it takes you a year or two to find a good spot it would still be worth it IMO. You could try posting in the Canada section too I know there are some guides on there like Superbee and he will give you some good info.

What species? We bear hunt with a guide in Ontario every year and have a great time, we've had 100% shot opportunities, and it's a very reasonably priced hunt.
