Crow Lake Trout Fishing

anyone headed up to crow lake trout fishing with Robin and the Boys from Thorne Bros. this weekend. I was on the outing last year and had a blast, was planning on going this year until last sunday when something came up that takes me away from it this weekend! What a blast it was last year, I can only get more prepared for next year now! Guarentee I won't miss it again! Fish on Gang!!

I've only ever fished Crow (Kakagi) during open water in May, but had a blast doing that, and have always wanted to fish it in winter. One of these days . . .

Crow is where I got bit bad by the laker bug. It's been a couple of years since I've been up, the Boy Wonder was always more than helpful. We shot the breeze with Robin late one night while enjoying some, a few, a lot of Canadas barley pops, it was a tough bite that next morning.

Come on Gissert, you know how dem early morning sled fumes get to me.

And that early morning duck sleugh methane gas.

Actually, the trip I'm referring to was when Bushwac, Kunzeye,and I were the only ones at the resort the whole weekend...with only Robin as the sole staff. Uh Oh

We got up early, fished the morning bite, and there was no chumming this time.

It is a great time up on Crow and LOW, not to mention great fishing and scenery. I gotta get back up there one of these days.
