Rod Suggestions

The rods are just now coming to market. TBA where they'll show up here. I'm guessing Cabelas will be first with them. Burleson Sporting is the first to have the rods available online.

I know TFO will be at the Great Waters Expo (same weekend as the Northwest Show) and you'll be able to see the rods there. I'm still waiting to see if TFO will decide to have a booth atthe Northwest Show as well. I'll keep you posted. Meantime, Gary did plenty of work on the rods. I was fairly close to the process and got to see the guy at work. It's pretty amazing to see just how much these folks know about the science of a fishing pole. It's almost overwhelming. I've got a bunch of the new sticks if you have interest in checking them out.

Good article on G. Loomis at Tackle Tour. He talks about his time with Shimano, their split and his battle with cancer. He goes on to talk about the new company TFO and how he is involved from ordering graphite to designing the new blanks.

If I were to put some flouro on my new set-up what brand would you guys suggest?

Depends what you want to spend. My personal preference is Seaguar Invizx, I think that it handles alot better than most.

I agree with Larson... However I prefer the Carbon Pro by Seaguar for all around usage...
