You mean like this? I removed the unit from its case for a better visual. Works great and folds inside out of the way. I drilled a hole for mounting and used the hole already in the base, on front left corner, to mount the switch. The switch locks into place so it can't turn on without first lifting the switch handle.

went and bought a vex lite and mounted it on my marcum--wow----should have done it last year---what a difference it makes when hole hopping at night. well worth the money for the convenience you get out of the conversion

keep your receipt on those!! I got one for x-mas used it once and on its 2nd fishing trip it didn't work.....exchanged it and have not had a problem with the new one but just a heads up........oh and yeah the light is a great addition to a flasher unit!!
