What carb issue is there? I had one and it never gave me a problem. Try running some Seafoam through it if it is dirty. Otherwise take it to Strikemaster and they will take care of you on the spot.

I was reading a little more in another thread. I've had the auger about 5 years and really had no problems. But i'm thinking the gas may be mixed a little rich. I'm gonna try a leaner mix with a little sea foam. I guess I'm gonna have to hit the lake tonight and test it out.

It had been bogging down and struggling to drill a hole without pulling it up and letting the motor "catch up" like it was getting too much or too little gas.

do a search on rebuilding Walbro WT or WA carbs. There is a 2 part video on how to do it. It is really quite simple. Have some carb cleaner and a air compressor and take your time. They show how to set the needle and how to set the diaphragm. Some of the TC 300 and later models use a tillotson carb or a tecumseh carb and the tech manuals are available online for free at some parts suppliers. Don't pay to download, some sites have for free. These carbs have fine orofices and they clog. Also, when ordering kits it is much cheaper to order online. The kit for a Walbro WAT carb is 16-20 bucks online and 36 list thru tecumseh.
