Big Buddy quick connect hose

I have the Big Buddy and 12ft quick connect hose. I was having trouble last weekend (-30) with the hose wanting to leak near the tank when first connecting in the morning. It was not a problem when warm or after I wiggled it a bit and played with it. I know the hose itself was stiff as heck. Do you think the hose is defective or just related to constriction or something based on the weather? It seemed to work fine when warm.

Northlander, is this the green hose? If so, I have a new (used 1x) 12' hose that I don't use.

They had "Issues" with the Quick Coupler hoses and regulators...and that is why there in short supply...can't find them...that is because there is none to be had is why.

If you suspect it to be defective contact them by e-mail ASAP and that is about the only way to get one of the new hoses right now.

Very hard to locate, and if you do...it may be one of the "Suspect hoses" they pulled this year.

Thats what I thought Ed. I knew they had "issues" but I hoped there was some good ones some place. Nobody can even order them.
