vex and camera batteries?

I have a Cabelas underwater camera that has a 12 volt battery in it that I would think would work for a vex it looks almost identical. I just bought a fl-8 yesterday and the battery that came with it has smaller posts. I was wondering if that means anything and if they are interchangeable?

They should be interchangeable.

Probably just a different Amp Hour (ah) raiting between the two. Both should be 12 volts though. The higher the amp hour, the longer the battery will hold a charge.
