First off I built a new feeder, tommoro I'm going to put some branches on it to make it look more natural, log has holes drilled in it, with suet pushed into holes and it can be rotated to help with lighting.

I also had the chance to borrow some different lenses from a friend and all I can say is after shooting 3 different lenses with IS, is i really like it some of these were taken with a 100-400L, 70-300 and a 70-200L non IS (Mine) All taken with a 50D. The IS really seems to make a difference, I really like my 70-200 F/4 and i'll most likely keep it but my next lens will have IS.

Nice collection and I bet the birds will enjoy the feeder. You have a nice assortment of yard birds to take pictures of. It seems like the red bellied woodpeckers are expanding their range farther and farther north so I am waiting for them to get up here!
