Strikemaster Throttle Trigger Sticking

Does anyone have any ideas how to keep my throttle trigger from sticking. I messed around with a new auger at the store and the trigger on that one was smooth and did not stick. Mine sticks when depressed and often times I have to manually bring it back to the start position. I have a newer style mag 2000. The trigger is the plastic flapper type.

mine did this when i first bought it, just spray some wd-40 where the throttle meets the plastic handle; you wont have another problem

Maybe you can help me with this questions as well. The auger starts easily, 3 maybe 4 pulls, but it will not continue running without holding down the throttle. Is the idle screw underneath the engine where the throttle cable attached to the engine? In your opinion, will adjusting this screw fix the problem?

my old lazer mag throttle sticks from time to time, I sprayed WD-40 up near the carb, helps alot.

jacob --that sounds like it would be fixed, you could try that or give Strikemaster a call and one of their mechanics will give you a quick more accurate answer!
