Help with Showdown

I got a new Showdown for christmas and taken it out 5 times and I really like it.Ihave had problems seein my lure in ice mode.What am I doing wrong?Also cant seem to zoom on the bottom.Great unit it has helped locate and catch walleyes.

try gettin your transducer farther down in the water and more centered in your hole. If that doesnt work, try turning up your gain.

If you haven't recharged the battery yet it may help to do that.

Thanks for the info how long do you usually charge the battery for?

If you can't see your lure/jig, hit the sensitivity button and then hit up until you can. For zoom, I leave mine on auto zoom, and it automatically zooms in on the botton 25% of the water column. If you move to a deeper or shallower area, it will still be on the bottom 25%.

I agree with DaSwede.

For whatever reason, I don't have much luck seeing my smaller lures with the Showdown sensitivity set to the automatic mode.

Hit the sensitivity button, and then dial up the sensitivity one level at a time until you can see your lure. That's the level you want.

For charging, on mine I have an indicator light on the charger that is red when charging and turns green for full charge.

Mine has the indicator on it too. Used mine Showdown for about 4 hours, got home, plugged it back in to charge it, and it was still on the green light. Thought that was pretty good.
