called clam and two stores i was in said that they were out for the year but you can try i wasn't going to wait. i too had the confirmed date. one thing i noticed is i had to do a search for it to show up on their HSOforum.

try the gander mountain in st. cloud, they had a quite few when i got mine, but that was the week before christmas.

Finally had a chance to use mine tonight in my otter den (1 man). It lit up the whole thing perfectly. Hangs really nice on the ceiling. Probably the best 14 bucks I have spent in a while.

I love mine. I have the $25 one. The only issue is the handle/battery case loves to let loose and send the unit smashing into the ice or the hole. I am going to fix this with either some electrical tape or zip ties. The fan and light are great though.

Do they put out any light? I am looking for a light for my eskimo quick fish. I am a sceptic when it comes to LED for a flood light. LED's seem fine for spot light but not the other way around.
