Neversummer
I got one during the black Friday sale. Works good during the day but terrible at night. The water has been murky thought but I don't think it will get much better
timbo147
I don't think that they have rechargeable batteries, so it might get pretty spendy to keep buying D size batteries all winter.
berke99
My son bought one on Black Friday also. I fished with him this weekend. It really worked good, nice picture. His infared at night worked great. I wish my ovs worked like it, only my camera will pan. It has a small 12 volt battery, not as large in size as a flasher battery, but my vexilar battery fits in the battery compartment, so you could buy a bigger sized battery. If I didn't already have a camera I would buy one!
leech~~
Does anyone own one of these? How do you like it? and how long have you had it? Not sure if it is the same brand as they had last year. But I talked my buddies wife into buying him one for X-Mas and with in about an hour of use in only about 8 feet of water. It filled with water and died! He brought it back and didn't try another. I hope they work better for those that buy them. They are fun to use, kids have a great time watching even if the fish aren't biting. Me Too! icerube
I have one. It works great during the day, but the infrared light glares off of any little thing thats suspended in the water when used at night, It realy shortens the viewing range. I don't know if the $300 ones work any better at night, but for the money, it works great for day time use. It does come with a smaller rechargable battery, I have used it for three hours straight with the light on one night, so far so good. I would buy one again. Good luck!!! dpayne
My wife bought me on eon the black friday sale. i am pretty surprised how it work. You can see everything pretty good the IR for at night works pretty decent. The only thing is when fish are out of range you can only see thier eyes and they glow so it makes them all look like walleye's but it they probably all do that. The only other problem is they battery is kind of small so if you use it all dayyou better charge it up at night. But for $70 how can you really complain
