PHESNTHNTR
Just wondering who has one and how they like it.. There are several i have found, just after some opinions. Is a 350 4X4 honda rancher large enough for one????
Macgyver55
I dont own one but I have tried one. In my opinion, they are better suited for use on a garden tractor. I believe you would get more use out of a plow and move more snow quicker.
Outfitter17
I agree with Macgyver, I have tried one twice with a blower and I didn't really like it. I blew the snow back, but it was slow. I can plow twice as fast with my 500 sportsman, that means less time out in the cold.
Dave S
Not to mention a plow is a fraction of the cost of a blower for an ATV.
Fredd
I have always used the walk-behind for the cost and manuverability. I think that I can blow more snow with my 28" 8hp than larger frame mounted units.
trapperdirk
I have a walk behind snowblower that looks all purty in my garage and only gets used once or twice a year just to make my neighbours drool in envy because I'm equpped so well . LOL .I really don't know why I have the blower because I only use the plow on the bike to do the job because it is so very much faster . For my driveway I would not have a use for a blower on the bike and man are those things way over priced . I could maybe see a commercial snow removal guy putting the bucks out for one and even then with that kind of money tied up I would have a small kubota tractor with a cab and power take off instead .TD
jeffreyd
could find an old 8n ford tractor and get something for it, they are die hards. not sure i would want to put my quad thru all of that stress. but heck i just get to sweep sand off the driveway when the wind blows. no real need for a snowblower however i did put one on my christmas list this year along with an artic amour suit. my wife thinks i am crazy. i told her that i was just covering my bases, never know when i might need that stuff????
