what do you use to anchor your sucker decoy in a portable house.fishing rod or tie it right to the house?

there is alot of ways to do it from jig sticks to 2 nails bent over in the wall with string wrapped around them and I have that in one of my houses. I prefer to use the old bait casting reels on the wall then string the line to an eye hook on the ceiling down to the hole I run two reels and three eye screws in the ceiling so I can do differnt styles of decoying.

There are also the clamp on rattle reels and hang them on something near the hole.

Basically what ever style you want top use can be used just make sure your comfortable with it.

Well I'm mos def not using my rod this year most of us knows what happened last year with my video...

As you can see on this photo, i have a red dot. I took a drill bit and drilled a hole through the floor. Put a bolt through the floor and locked tight it down. From there I made a bracket that i have a reel on where i put it on that bolt, Screw it down, and you have a reel!
