anybody know of any good replacement seats for the cheap seats that come in the clam flip overs

Do you mean the new ones that are really small? I believe you can order the larger ones from them. Otherwise just get a boat seat somewhere.

The ones in my Guide from 2-3 years ago are really nice.

I recommend you check out the Tempress line of seats.

They start at $29 and go up to the $79 hi-backs used in the Frabill shacks. Good seats, fold down flat, no need to remove to cover, multi-season use friendly.

After not being impressed with the new line of seats and the lack of any versatility in them (don't move at all), we talked with the owners and it was a price point issue. Stores needed lower prices on the Clam flip overs to meet customers needs, and that was a way to save money. Although, you can still buy the older seats which slide front and back, side to side, as well as being able to remove them easily,just have to get them from clam. I'm glad I have last years model.
